My Top Ten Arsenal Players

again, in no particular order

Thierry Henry – when you are the club’s greatest goalscorer – I name my children after you, one of the most inspirational players I have ever had the privilige to watch.

Dennis Bergkamp – I was wrong all those years, there really is a God! And to think he played out his career with us too. Thank you Dennis.

Cesc Fabregas – oh no this is just wrong, such an old head on such young shoulders – sees the pass everytime – long may you continue.

Liam Brady – One of only two players on the list I can’t remember actually see play, although I think there might have been one game my Dad took me to when I was a nipper. Legend.

Charlie Nicholas – Still reeling from the departure of Stapleton we waited for the next goalscoring machine to arrive, never quite lived up to the hype, but the North Bank adored Charlie. Broke Ian Rush’s record of liverpool winning everytime he scored.

John Hollins – Made his name with other teams, but what i admired about Hollins was he would play up front for us one week, midfield the next, and finished in defence. A gentleman through and through.

Stewart Robson – My old Dad said “this boy will captain his country” and he would have done until a career ending challenge. Great talent though.

Bob Wilson – A gentleman and a great stopper – never saw him play, but still my number 1.

Tony Adams – What can you say, I watched him go from “donkey” to Mr Arsenal. Legend.

Patrick Vieira – First time I saw him play I was “the man’s a freak, he is just all legs” ran nearly everygame I ever saw him play in.
